Books, Paper, and Pens.
It's that time a year again. Yep you got it. School is back in session. It's not like I didn't just get out of summer school three weeks ago but you know thats totally different. The whole feel for summer school is just gross. Nobody is into it especially me, and every body just gives there half crap attempt at it. Anyways... I love school! I love being here! I love being around people who are interested in the same thing as I am and they are ready to learn! I love reading my text books and trying to work towards getting the best grade I can possibly get. It's motivating waking up every day and going to learn more and more about what I love. I can't wait to go to grad school! I just want to keep learning and learning I love psychology and I love what I will be able to do with it! I hope I can stay on top of things this whole semester, and not let myself fall behind in any of my classes... well at least any of my psych classes I am so done with family studies!

Do Not Drink the Water
Chapter Two: Monks, Good Chi, and Water
At the local Food Mart Fresh Peter Stared Intently at of what look like an ordinary bottle of water.
"Peter I said what do you want for dinner tonight? Are you listing to me? Why are you staring at that bottle of water?"
It was Peters girl friend Kaycee, They have been dating for a little over three months, and Peter was really starting to like her a lot.
"Errrr... Sorry Kaycs what was that?" Peter looked up at Kaycee, like a lost puppy.
"Why is it when ever you see that particular brand of water you have an out of body experience? I don't see how it's different then any other water." Kaycee was starting to lose her patience with Peter, this had to of been the third time this week that he wandered off to the bottled water section of the store.
"Well it's not really this particular brand for say.... it's just something my.... friend has been telling me." Peter Said in a very hesitant manor, as if he were embarrassed for his explanation.
" This isn't another one of those crazy things your friend Oliver told you is it? When do I get to meet this Oliver anyways, he sounds very... interesting..."
" Hey Oliver's a good kid he just has some interesting idea sometimes..."
"And what is his idea this time?"
"Uhhhhh......" Peters face was starting to turn red. Even though Oliver did have crazy ideas he stood up for him and Kaycee didn't seem to understand, that's why he was hesitant to let Kaycee meet him.
"Well, What Is It!?" Kaycee was starting to get upset. She didn't under stand how Peter could be so mature and put together, and yet his best friend seemed so childish. She didn't like the influence he had on him.
"OK I'll tell you" Peter said relentlessly, "But you have to promise to not judge him he's just paranoid and I know his theory is crazy but I just can't help myself to think about it because it's all he ever talks about. ...OK... He believes that the government is trying to control us through drinking water... I know it's crazy but the kid deals with a lot of stress, it can do things to you."
"Where does this kid come up with this stuff!" Kaycee couldn't help herself from laughing even though she promise she wouldn't. "I mean whats next? Cats are really just aliens trying to take over the world?" She snickered.
"Well actually he's not really into space stuff... It's always been the government that's been 'after him' Peter said in Oliver's defense.
"That's not my point at all! This kid is straight up loony and you treat him like he is some sort of genius." She still couldn't stop laughing her sides where starting to split and she was starting to struggle to breath because she was laughing so hard. It must of been the combination of Peter's doe eyes and Oliver's Crazy theory.
"He's like a little brother to me, and besides he actually got a lot of research to support his idea so he's not completely mad... give him a break." Peter just wanted her to understand, sometimes he thought that letting her meet him would of just made things easier. Oliver meant a lot to him and he wasn't willing to give him up for Kaycee.
"OK Peter I'll try to give the kid some respect, but can you please explain what is so special about that bottle of water?"
"Oh Well, It's from the high mountains in China, It's bottled by Monks who put there blessing on it, to give it good Chi.... It's one of the few company's that Oliver says is safe to drink." He explained as if he were the founder of the company. "But, I was just you know... checking it out." Peter laughed very awkwardly.
"That is the biggest load of garbage I have ever heard!" Kaycee laughed, she wasn't really seeming to take the whole crazy idea seriously at all. "Who pays an extra 50 cents per bottle for 'blessed' water? I can't believe the stuff people fall for these days!" Kaycee was a major skeptic she has a hard time believing a lot of the things she hears, which is one of they reasons she like Peter so much, he was so calm and put together and always use logic to explain things, that is unless Oliver is involved. Kaycee was so ready to settle down and have a family, she is 28 and all her sisters are married and have kids, she didn't want some crazy kid like Olive ruin her chance with Peter, who would be a perfect husband and father, but she decide to let it go for now.
"OK lets just go home already I'm tired of having this conversation, and I'm really tired, I had a long day of work today." Peter sighed.
"OK but you never answered my first question!"
"What do you mean that's all we have been talking about for the last 20 minutes?"
"It's the whole reason we came here in the first place! she laughed. "What do you want for dinner?"
"Oh yeah that's right! I totally forgot!" He said with a grin.
That night they went home and had a nice dinner and after a movie Peter walked Kaycee home, then went back to Food Marked Fresh to pick up a fifty-pack of "Good Chi Water". Which was not easy to lug home on his bike... He laughed the whole way home... he couldn't believe what he was doing.

Do Not Drink the Water
Chapter One: Peter and Oliver
"All I'm saying is just don't drink the water." Oliver demanded for the fiftieth time. "It's the government's way of controlling us, there trying to dumb us down so we will listen to anything they say."
"Why are you so determined to convince me of you crazy theory, has anyone ever told you your just being paranoid?" Peter replied as if he were talking to a child who wasn't willing to leave his parents alone about letting him get a dog.
"I'm just looking out for you buddy!" He grinned not letting Peters upset tone bother him. Then his face turned serious and firm, "Just listen to me OK" he sighed. "I have been looking deep in to this and this is no joke, its been a classified study the government has been working on but they were always weary about testing it out, but now that we have been having so many over turns in our government they are getting sick of the people and there many opinions, so there testing it out on our little city and once it works all of America will be under there spell."
"Oliver your my best friend, and I want to believe you. Honestly. My only problem is America is all about freedom, how can we be free when we have no agency?" He is still determined to not let the child have the dog. "And another thing, we work at a water perfection plant for crying out loud! It's my job to test whats in the water to make sure it's safe. I assure you not one drop of water comes out of here with 'mind controlling' drugs in it."
"Alright, but don't come crying to me when the government has you all 'zombie-fyed'." He laughed. "Actually now that I think about it you wont even be able to complain about it because you'll be to stupid to even know your a zombie! ....Which is why I want you to believe me.... I want to keep you they way you are Peter, I really value our friendship and you know that." He said endearingly.
"OK! OK! Don't get all lovey dovey on me kid! Peter laughed almost spitting out his milk. Oliver's jokes about them being "sole mates" always made Peter laugh like a immature school boy, but this time he could tell he was serious.
-buzz
"Ah time to go back to work right sole mate!" Oliver giggled.
"Yes it is, and don't call me sole mate!" He grumbled. "I'm going back to work and making sure that no zombie drugs go into the water. You can go back to whatever it is you do."
" Hey! I'm a certified water technician and you know it!" He said proudly.
" Ah... Right.. Sometimes I forget about that. With all that non-sense filled in your head and all, it's hard to believe that theirs anything of use in there." he said while knocking on Peters head as if nothing was in there.
" Ha. Ha. Real funny." Sarcasm was another of Oliver's favorite responses. Oliver pulled a funny face at Peter like the little child he is and walked away.
Peter walked away from Oliver shaking his head a laughing heading towards his work station. Peter is twenty-five years old but sometimes acts like he's forty-five. The young spirit of Oliver reminds him of his little brother Jack, who was wrongfully lost to the ocean on one of the two brothers daily visit to beach, but there was a bad wind that day, and the biggest wave Peter and Jack have ever seen on that cold day picked Jack up and threw him in to the rocky cliffs. Peter tried to save him... but he was gone... Ever since that happened a piece of Peter was missing, but Oliver filled that void as if he were his little brother. After Jack died Peter took a seriousness to life, no more playing around like a child, and he could no longer stand his home in Pacific Beach California, and he gave up his dream of being a pro surfer, it was Jack's dream anyways, he was the real surfer.
He left his home in California and got the first job he could find in Washington. He always loved the majestic mountains of Washington. His family took a trip there when he was sixteen and he found refuge there, blocked in from the mountains, thousands of miles away from the ocean. He lives in Trent Wood Washington, which is just an hour away from Spokane Washington and just twenty minutes away from Opportunity Washington, which was his original destination to start his new life but unlike the name suggest he found no opportunity there and went to the next closes city not losing faith.
Once he found his job at the Trent Wood Water Sanitation Plant things started to turn around he found a nice little apartment a mile away from the plant making it easy to ride his bike to work every day. Peter hated driving, he hated all the hussle and the bussle of driving in California and never really learned how to drive. He never had the money for a car anyways. After he got settled down he bought him self a German Shepard and named him Spock, he and his brother were big Trekkies and watched old re-runs every morning right before they went surfing, and the Shepard's pointy ears reminded him of the ears of Spock.
Life was pretty simple, and rather boring for Peter and Spock. That is until he met Oliver three years ago and that's when things started to get interesting.

Old Ones Full of Wisdom
Ok my Dad isn't that old, but he is full of wisdom that's for sure. So I made a very wise chose myself, to go talk to my dad before picking up this puppy that way I wouldn't get grounded for the rest of my life. He did what he always dose and gave me the logical explanation to as why I shouldn't get a puppy. It's not that he doesn't like them it's just that he feels like I need to be able to be free and have nothing holding me back from what I want to do. If I got a dog I wouldn't be able to go explore the world, or move away to college or go on a mission. I'll just have to wait till I'm settled in life till I get a dog.... I'm glad I talked to my dad though, because I don't know what I would of done with my puppy!!! Even though he is super cute!!
Im Just a Red without my Rover
I want a puppy more than anything in the world. Now i just need to convince my parents that i can get one.... you see i decide to take action upon this today.... i really really want a puppy and i started to look at ksl's web site and found the most perfect puppy in the world. I already made an appointment to go take a look at it.... he is just so adorable and i already made an offer for him.... yikes im in trouble... haha he is just to cute to not have. i need him!!!!!!!! i feel some major disciplin coming....yes that is him on the left.... adorable!

The End to the Summer of Laura.... or Just the Beginning?
I am Happy and Light Hearted!
I have learned a lot about myself this summer. I have learned how to control my mood and what makes me unhappy and what makes me happy. I have learned the building my self upon the foundation of Christ, just like the Scriptures in Helaman 5:12 suggest, that it has made me strong against the devils winds because of the rock of Christ that I have built myself upon. I use to build my self on others, and when I would turn to them when I needed help, they weren't there, but Christ is ALWAYS there for me. Because of this foundation in Christ if a trial comes up in my life, I can find the positive in it and not let it bring me down.
I wake up every day happy with a smile on my face and ready to face the world. I have a Shine within my soul and I want the world to see it! I have been able to detach myself from those things that bring me down, weather it be people I know, or things the chase away the spirit. I focus on trying to be the healthy and strong, I want to reach my full potential! I want to climb the mountain and not be faint! I want to have the energy I need to make it through the day! I want to treat my body the best that I can, I only have one! I am so grateful for EVERYTHING in my life and everything that has made it possible for the restored Gospel to be on the earth today! I love Nature and being outdoors I'm so grateful for beauty and wild life, it brings joy to my soul! I know that I am a daughter of God and he has a plan for me and with his help I will achieve it!
I love studying Psychology, it brings me so much Joy! It makes me excited to have a Carree in this field, I cant wait to learn and grow and help people along the way!
I Can now say with no doubt in my mind that I AM happy with MY SELF, I Love who I am, and the person I am working on becoming! I have learned to look at things with the glass half full, and I am so happy for that! This is a constant process that i must always work on, this is not the end, but a great beginning!

The Summer of Laura
I wrote this blog at the beggining of summer.....
Hello there. I am doing a blog this summer, because I feel like there is so much for me to learn and do. I want to become better at writing, and English and I think having a blog will help me a lot with this. I want to become a more productive person. I feel like I waste so much time on face book, watching TV, and just generally, wasting time. I feel like I have let my self become extremely lazy and a slave to my weaknesses. I want to become the person I can be. I want to reach my full potential. I now declare this. The summer of Laura.
Life has been going pretty darn well these last couple of weeks. You see a couple months ago I start taking anti-depressants to help me get along with my life. I was feeling so apathetic and negative all the time I couldn’t get anything done ever. I literally sat around and did nothing for about a month. It was awful. Once I got on my medication I could feel some small changes, but things really started kicking in once my doctor upped my dosage. I started feeling empowered, and like I could accomplish anything. I was positive about everything in my life; I was smiling more and more everyday. I still feel this way but it’s not as strong as it was before. The reason for this is I’m caught in a little bit of a break this summer. I quit my job two weeks ago because I was not getting treated the way I deserved to be treated. I was totally unappreciated. So I left. I did get another job I just haven’t started it yet. Hopefully I will begin this next Monday. In the mean time, I will try and become more adult like, more responsible, more loving, and increase my knowledge base.
